Chef Sivaraman Gurusamy (“Samy”) is originally from Puducherry, India. He has vast knowledge of techniques and equipments for planting, growing and harvesting food products (both plant and animal). His lifelong passion for agriculture and growing healthy foods ultimately led him to incorporate that into creating scrumptious meals.
Chef Samy pursued his hospitality management degree at Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management. He fined tuned his culinary skills under the tutelage of highly experienced chefs at the institute. He has worked in the field in various settings for the past 13 years.
He started the Manjal chain of restaurants in 2015. Chef Samy has been making scrumptious, authentic Indian dishes as well as getting creative with delicious, fusion dishes. He hopes with the help of his talented team, to exceed your expectations at Majal restaurants.
